Stash sees a future in which developers can be their own platforms for the first time by delivering excellent direct-to-consumer experiences. We offer game developers a suite of tools that enable them to directly sell to and engage with their players, including web shops, custom game launchers, and payment processing. That way, games can finally interact with their players on their own terms. Role Overview:
As Stash’s Business Development Manager, you’ll use your gaming industry connections to help us grow. Your main job will be to identify potential customers and sell Stash products to mobile and PC game developers. You’ll handle the entire sales pipeline, making sure everything runs smoothly from first contact to final sale. Ideally, you’re addicted to games, know how they work, and understand what game developers need. You’ve got a proven track record of building successful business relationships in the industry. Plus, you’re up for traveling to meet customers in person and representing Stash at industry events worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs and pain points
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with Stash’s strategic goals
Sell Stash products to mobile and PC game developers and manage the sales pipeline
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to key stakeholders and decision-makers
Gather and analyze client feedback to influence product development and improve Stash’s offerings
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives
Represent Stash at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish key connections
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years in a business development or sales role
Game industry background and a passion for games
Existing network of game studios
Willingness and ability to travel
Strong people skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding relationship management skills
