Responsibilities
- Own Odeeo’s business and product data analysis, responding to ad-hoc requests and proactively initiating data analysis to identify business and product needs and gaps.
- Analyze internal and external data sources to generate actionable recommendations for business and product decisions.
- Create value from our extensive data and communicate insights effectively to various stakeholders, including management, R&D, product, business, and sales teams.
- Manage the prioritization of data requests, balancing urgent short-term tasks with ongoing major projects.
- Present company performance to different internal teams and stakeholders, preparing insightful presentations that summarize performance and clarify company metrics and goals.
- Design and create BI dashboards using Qlik to provide continuous insights and visibility into product and business performance.
- Work with a variety of relational and non-relational databases, including Athena, Redshift, MySQL, MemSQL, and others.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst.
- Analytical experience in an ad-tech, mobile, gaming company, or equivalent in the online advertising industry, with a basic understanding of ad-tech metrics, terminology, and KPIs.
- Excellent SQL skills with experience querying large, complex data sets - a must.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
- Practical experience in data visualization using a BI tool is a significant advantage, and an orientation toward this capability with a desire to learn is required.
- Methodological approach to data, with the ability to present it clearly and efficiently to support business decisions.
- Ability to create compelling stories from numbers and communicate them in a visually appealing, easy-to-understand manner to different audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and drive them to completion, handling both ad-hoc urgent tasks and large, ongoing projects.
- Highly independent, capable of working as the sole data analysis function in the Israeli office, requiring strong self-learning, self-motivation, autonomy, and self-management with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues from different teams, working closely with both technical and business teams.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working with big data in a high-scale environment.
- Deep understanding of statistical significance, models, and tools.
- Knowledge and experience with Qlik BI tool.
- Knowledge of Python (or similar languages) for data manipulation and analysis.
