Bright Star Studios is looking for a talented Web 3 Community Growth Lead to join the Global Marketing team. The role and team you will be joining are fully remote.

We are developing Ember Sword, a social sandbox MMORPG which seamlessly fuses the best elements from gaming classics with the latest technological advancements and mesmerizing narrative design. Developed using our groundbreaking proprietary engine technology, Ember Sword will deliver a frictionless gaming experience on any browser-equipped device, inviting players to plunge into its captivating universe whenever and wherever they choose.

As a Community Growth Lead, you will have in-depth experience with building, managing, and engaging communities across platforms and networks, and a knowledge of and passion for digital technologies. You will bring imaginative and inventive ideas for growing our incredible community, and be absolutely brimming with excitement about putting those ideas into action.

Successful applicants for this role will be able to demonstrate the ability to be proactive and self-sufficient, to understand and incorporate the needs and expectations of our audience, to be reflective and creative in your approach, and be able to back up decision-making with substantiated reasoning.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Director of Global Brand Marketing working as part of the wider Brand team, but also working closely with Digital Marketing, Web, Support, and QA among other teams.

What you’ll do

• Devise and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to attract and retain new players and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align community initiatives with overall marketing and launch objectives

• Identify and leverage influencers, content creators, content opportunities and partnerships to expand the game's reach

• Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the success of community initiatives and derive insights and trends from data to optimize strategies and identify areas for improvement

• Develop creative community content alongside teammates for official communications for upcoming tests, game positioning, and developer streams

• Maintain constant visibility on the community to relay meaningful feedback on sentiment, suggestions, and concerns on Discord - engaging in person and online

• Support community partners including fansites, content creators, guilds and volunteers

Who you are

• An expert on Web3, passionate about games and have a deep understanding of player/user behavior

• Proven experience in building global online communities

• Strong understanding of modern community platforms and tools (e.g. Discord, Twitch) and community dynamics

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret community metrics

• Creative and strategic thinker

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment making self-driven decisions

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• You are based with +/-2h of the CET timezone
